Virtual launch: Itel Mobile unveils NewBrand Slogan, Phones in Lagos

This October, Consumers in Nigeria witnessed a memorable virtual event as
respected customer-centric brand, Itel Mobile unveiled the brand’s latest series
of S16 phones alongside a batch of other new products like Itel TV and smart
accessories.
The grand virtual launch event which took place in Lagos last week also
featured the formal presentation of the brand’s new slogan and tagline- Enjoy
Better Life.
If it was the pre-COVID period, many observers agree it would definitely have
been a gathering of VIPs and celebrities at a popular venue like the Banquet hall
of Lagos Eko Hotel. Thanks to pressures for social distancing because of the
pandemic, new things are taking shape. Welcome to the new normal.
During the virtual event that was streamed live online and on selected Nigerian
TV stations, the phone brand fully maximised the signing on of Afro-pop star,
Olamide Adedeji as brand ambassador. Music lovers and many phone users
connected effectively with the Ambassador in the segment he handled as he
churned out and other massages thousands of fans watching can relate.
The efficiency of the anchorperson, Annie Idibia was quite conspicuous. The
brand also stressed that the new slogan- Enjoy Better Life- was a product of
painstaking consumer research conducted in 2019 across African markets,
including Nigeria, where Itel Mobile has established presence in the last 13
years.
The research, the phone brand claimed, provided fresh insights on serving
consumers better in markets across Africa. From the insights, demands for
electronic products, TV, TWS earbuds and smart band ranked as the most
important concern.
Speaking on the new brand slogan and products, Marketing Manager (West
Africa 1), itel Mobile, Oke Umurhohwo said: “The Enjoy Better Life slogan
expresses our commitment to listening to consumers and meeting their most
pressing needs with value-driven offerings. Enjoy Better Life is an open
invitation to everyone for an amazing user experience with the new category of
products.
Features of the new products were also captured and projected with great details in the hour-long presentation. It is now left for consumers to evaluate and
take action. The result definitely will emerge in a chance of time.
